Road to Oscar 2013

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association voted Sunday on their awards for the best in film for 2012. Announcing their winners and runners-up via Twitter, LAFCA awarded their top prize to Michael Haneke’s Amour. The film, which won the Palme d’Or earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival, also nabbed a Best Actress Prize for its co-star Emmanuelle Riva (Riva shared the award with Silver Linings Playbook‘s Jennifer Lawrence).

WINNER: Amour
RUNNER-UP: The Master

Best Foreign Film
WINNER: Holy Motors
RUNNER-UP: Footnote

Best Director
WINNER: Paul Thomas Anderson, The Master
RUNNER-UP: Kathryn Bigelow, Zero Dark Thirty

Best Soundtrack in the year 2012

1 – Imaginaerum: I am not a true fan of Nightwish but with Imaginaerum Soundtrack they surprise and inspire me. What a great OST.

2 – Rock of Ages: the film is not so good but the Soundtrack is great. The 80′ still has an unique style.

3 – Act of Valor: Fuck ya!

4 – Beasts of the Southern wild: Wild, fascinating, definitely one of the best soundtracks of the year.

5 – The Dark Knight Rises: Hans Zimmer is the best. Another brilliant work!

6 – Life of Pi: Oh my India

7 – The Hobbit: An Expected Journey: Undoubable
